Sudhir Bhai Goyal Founder Director established Sewadham ashram with a mission - To provide lifetime shelter to old, physically challenged, mentally ill, married unmarried mothers and their kids, shelter for victims of anti social elements, victims of natural calamities and dying destitute people.
Providing services to dying and destitute people irrespective of caste, creed and religion, suffering from chronic or terminal diseases like cancer, HIV, AIDS, TB, mental illnesses, physical handicaps, etc., have benefitted coming from all over India by Sewadham Ashram. Inmates from all over India stay here like a huge joint family. His dedicated efforts have benefitted more than 5 lakh urban and tribal people till date by various activities run by him. He established Leprosy Welfare Centre in Hamukhedi, Ujjain for uplift of Leprosy patients. He left no stone unturned in his efforts to provide food, shelter, education and rehabilitation to those in need following a five point doctrine of Sewa, Shiksha, Swasthya, Swavlamban and Sadbhav.
People abandoned at bus, railway stations, roads and hospitals have all found loving care and attention at Sewadham. Exploited, abandoned, married, unmarried, mentally ill and even pregnant women found shelter and protection here. Many lived in appalling conditions with maggots infected wounds. People shunned them leave alone talk to them. The main objective of Sewadham is to provide food, shelter, medical care and a life of dignity to such unfortunate souls
